Read the epoxy flooring guide- Do you sell to homeowners, or only to contractors?
- Both. We supply flooring contractors buying by the pallet and homeowners coating a single garage. Pricing is per kit either way, and every product page lists the full technical data sheet so you know exactly what you're buying before you order.
- How much epoxy do I need for a two-car garage?
- A typical two-car garage runs 400–500 sq ft. Our 100%-solids epoxy base coats cover roughly 200 sq ft per gallon at 8 mils, so one coat needs about 2–2.5 gallons, and most floors get a base coat plus a topcoat. Coverage changes with substrate porosity and film thickness — exact rates are published on every product page, and we'll check your numbers before you order.
- What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
- Epoxy is the high-build foundation: thick, strong, and economical, but it ambers under UV. Polyaspartic is an aliphatic topcoat that stays UV-stable and clear, cures fast enough to walk on the same day, and stays flexible in cold temperatures. Most Ottawa garage floors use both — an epoxy base coat for build and adhesion, with a polyaspartic topcoat for UV and abrasion resistance.
- How long before I can park on a new epoxy floor?
- At around 20°C, expect foot traffic after about a day, light traffic in roughly three days, and full chemical cure at seven days. Vehicle traffic should wait for full cure — hot tires on a green floor are the most common cause of early failure. Cure times shorten in warmer conditions and stretch considerably in the cold, so check the cure table on the system you're using.
